Also, I was reading through your documentation, and noticed that on you "debug" page, you recommend using FireDaemon to run the program as a service. Currently, there is no Lite version of FireDaemon, and that got me to thinking, you can run apps in their own memory space under whatever priory you might wish. I found that raising the priority to realtime helped the receptivity greatly, and caused me no problems. I created a shortcut with the following syntax, and you might want to include this on future documentation: C:\WINNT\system32\CMD.EXE /C "Start /Realtime /min /B /DC:\Progra~1\WinLirc\ C:\Progra~1\WinLirc\winlirc.exe" You can replace /Realtime with /high if there are problems with such a high priority.
